Groups and Activities

Weekly Mothers’ Group

Every Tuesday from 10.00am until 12.00noon at the Gingin Uniting Church Hall. Morning tea is provided. All mothers are welcome, as this is a community support group and we don’t talk ‘church’ stuff. This group is intended to give mums a break from older children, so only nursing infants to come with their mother please.

St Stephen’s School Community Service Program

Once per term, Year 7-11 students from St Stephen’s School in Carramar come to the church to help with busy-bee activities such as gardening as maintenance. If you know of anyone in the community who is elderly and may welcome some gardening or other small jobs done around their home, please contact us and we can help to arrange a visit from the students when they are next in Gingin.

Gingin Community Pantry

This is a joint initiative with the local community and the Gingin Shire to help neighbours in Gingin who are experiencing food insecurity. Click HERE for more information about how to donate to the pantry.

Support for local YouthCare Chaplain

The Gingin Uniting Church partners with other local churches and community groups to support the employment of a Chaplain at Gingin District High School. Please contact us if you would like to be involved with the Chaplaincy Committee (meets once per term) or to make a donation to support this important work.

Good Friday Church Service

Every year the Gingin Uniting Church hosts an Easter Good Friday service at 10.00am, and we combine with the Gingin Anglican Church on Easter Sunday to run an Easter Service in Granville Park.

Harvest Festival

It is a long standing tradition to host the Harvest Festival Church Service and Auction every year in late October/early November. We bring local produce to share and auction as an act of thanksgiving for the many blessings that harvest season brings.

Christmas Carols in the Park

Every year we co-ordinate with other local churches and community groups to hold a Christmas Carols outdoor event for the Gingin community.
